WP 6000: Dissemination, Integration of Results and Final Workshop
The objective of this work package is to integrate and disseminate the results achieved in the project. Dissemination will take place during the course of the project as well as at the Final Conference at the end of the project. Expected dissemination activities include:
- Preparation of the project website
- Preparation of a project logo
- Preparation and distribution of a project brochure and project newsletters: a brochure with information about the project will be distributed electronically. This brochure will be followed up by three (electronic) newsletters, each with information about project results, with the last newsletter also containing information about the Final Conference.
- Organisation of the Final eIMPACT Conference: At the end of the project, a one day conference will be organised to present the eIMPACT results to a wide audience.
In addition to these dissemination activities, all partners are encouraged to participate in special sessions relevant for road safety, produce dissemination material, distribute project-related pamphlets and materials, and be present with live presentations of the project at relevant events. These activities are part of work in the work packages 1000-5000. Relevant events include the World Congresses on ITS and the ITS in Europe congress 2007 in Aalborg. Members of the consortium will be available to report on project results on request at for example the eSAFETY initiative and the Intelligent Car Initiative.
Cooperation with TRACE (TRaffic Accident Causation In Europe)
eIMPACT is in close co-operation with TRACE, a concurrent European-funded project. TRACE is an initiative to update accident causation issues and evaluate the safety benefits of technologies.). TRACE identifies, characterizes and quantifies the nature of risk factors, groups at risk, specific conflict driving situations and accident situations; and to estimate the safety benefits of a selection of technology-based safety functions. TRACE will provide eIMPACT the necessary data for the Impact analyses of Work Package 3000. In addition, eIMPACT and TRACE will have joint dissemination activities through newsletters and websites.
